Job Summary

Under the direction of the President of RAM Tool, is an active member of RAM’s management team. Directs and coordinates the accounting procedures of the company. Is responsible for systems, compliance, accuracy of detail, consolidation of reports, audits, and analysis for all accounting functions including budgeting, cost accounting, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation (customer invoicing, cash receipts, AP, payroll)
  • Overall management of Accounting, Human Resources, and IT departments.
  • KPIs – (Orders, Shipments, Backlog, Gross Margin, Net Profit and others as assigned).
  • Prepare summary and forecast reports relating to income, expenses, and earnings.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely month-end/year-end close process.
  • Maintain job costing system and analysis of assigned labor/overhead rates.
  • Cash flow management and adherence to bank debt covenants.
  • As required, prepare and review month end Inventory reports.
  • As required, prepare and review material and labor reports.
  • As required, coordinate annual physical inventory process and create/review appropriate report(s).
  • Preparation of all budgets
  • Manage burden rates, depreciation rates and capital assets.
  • Maintain accounting system(s) which comply with GAAP and tax requirements reporting requirements.
  • The computation and timely payments of all taxes, leasehold or contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process and act as liaison with external auditors.
  • Participate in work team / problem solving groups
  • Management of 401K plan.
  • Selection and management of benefit administration (health, business insurance and WC insurances)
  • Overall management of Epcior.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous management experience and ability to prepare financial reports, including department budgets and capital projects
  • Highly proficient with financial software platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills
  • Ability to organize and manage priorities, meet deadlines, and expectations
  • Ability to instruct and coach support personnel
  • Team-oriented and flexible
  • Self-confident with strong qualitative, analytical, and mathematical skills

Works in a normal office environment with regular visits to production areas. Daily activities include occasional periods of time standing, collecting data, inspecting parts, in production or completed.
